Dr. Edmond Cheng

Managing Director
Dr. Edmond Cheng has been the Managing Director of the Group since February 2002. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (Hons) in Estate Management, a Master's degree in Business Administration, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Business and Management. He is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Housing, the Chartered Institute of Housing, the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the Hong Kong Institute of Real Estate Administration, the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors. He is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong, a Registered Professional Housing Manager, a Registered Professional Surveyor (General Practice), a Certified Facility Manager and a Licensed Estate Agent.
Currently, Dr. Cheng is the President of the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies. He was the Chairman of the Housing Managers Registration Board (2006-2008); President of the Hong Kong Institute of Housing (2000-2002), a member of the Real Estate Services Training Board of the Vocational Training Council, a member of the Contractors Registration Committee of the Buildings Department and a member of the Review Committee of the Urban Renewal Authority between 2000 and 2003. He joined Urban Group in 2000 as an Executive Director and has over 25 years experience in real estate, property asset and facility management services industry.
