Urban Group and VocaAonal Training Council Forge Partnership to Nurture Future Property Management Professionals

Urban Group and the VocaAonal Training Council (VTC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 13 April 2026, marking an important milestone in our shared commitment to nurturing the next generaDon of professionals in Hong Kong’s property management industry.

The signing ceremony of the MoU took place at the Sha Tin campus of the Hong Kong InsDtute of VocaDonal EducaDon (IVE), a member insDtuDon of VTC. The MoU was witnessed by Dr. Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group and Ms. Florence Chan, Deputy ExecuDve Director of VTC and signed by Mr. Joey Li, Group Manager – Human Capital & Training of Urban Group and Mr. James Yap, Academic Director of Business Discipline of VTC.

Through this strategic collaboraDon, Urban Group will provide industry support for the VTC Higher Diploma in Real Estate and Property Management programme:

Oﬀer more internship opportuniDes for VTC students studying this programme to obtain pracDcal exposure to property management operaDons.
Provide scholarships for students studying this programme to encourage academic excellence and professional development.
Share industry insights and experDse to strengthen curriculum development and bridge classroom learning with real-world applicaDons.
Provide non-local students studying this programme with internship and post-graduaDon employment opportuniDes in support of the VocaDonal Professionals Admission Scheme (VPAS).

Dr. Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group, remarked, “This partnership is a significant step in nurturing young talent with the pracDcal skills and industry exposure needed to succeed. By integraDng educaDon with workplace learning, we are helping shape the future of service excellence in Hong Kong.”

Ms. Florence Chan, Deputy ExecuAve Director of VTC, stated, “VTC will join hand with the Urban Group to promote the development of VocaDonal and Professional EducaDon and Training (VPET). By enriching the Higher Diploma in Real Estate and Property Management programme of the Business Discipline, and oﬀering more internship opportuniDes, students and their skills would be closely aligned with the latest industry development.”

The ceremony also featured a seminar on AI Agent ApplicaDons in Property Management, where Ms. Winnie Leung, Founder of WYNI Technology Limited, shared insights on leveraging arDficial intelligence to enhance customer engagement and improve service eﬃciency. Urban Group is also acDvely driving innovaDon and technology, aligning talent development with client needs to deliver the most suitable soluDons and conDnuously enhance service quality and operaDonal eﬃciency.
