Urban Group and it 4 associated companies receive Y-CARE Silver Partner and Sport-Friendly Action Award respectively from Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (YMCA) in Y-Care CSR Scheme cum Sport-Friendly Action Award Ceremony on 22nd June 2021, in recognition of the Group’s significant contribution in the aspects of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance as well as implementing sport-friendly policies and measures for caring employees’ physical and mental health continuously.

Dr. Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group revealed, “The Group demonstrates core values of Caring through organizing remarkable CSR campaign ‘Urban Group Caring Day’ with various organizations. We have been building a long-term partnership with YMCA to launch social service projects which helping the people in need in the community. The Group also concerns the physical and mental health of all staff and believes that implementing sport-friendly actions not only motivate staff to reach their full potential and enhance productivity, but also help increase their sense of belonging to create a win-win situation.”

Y-Care CSR Scheme cum Sport-Friendly Action Award Ceremony is organized by YMCA, addressing the theme of "Digital Inclusion" with YMCA 120th anniversary elements, to present nearly 110 awards for commending supports from corporate partners in providing diversified social services during the epidemic and benefiting the community.
Y-Care CSR Scheme aims to provide strength-based and diverse volunteer services and community programmes for corporates considering "Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance" factors to collaboratively create a socially inclusive society. Besides, Sport-Friendly Action campaign aims to create healthy workplaces across Hong Kong by encouraging enterprises to offer sport-friendly measures in the workplace, allowing these enterprises to fulfil their corporate responsibilities, build a positive image and create a win-win situation for the organization and its employees.
