Urban Group was recently appointed by the Government Property Agency (GPA) to manage 47 government properties and facilities on the Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon region for a contract term of 4 years commencing 1st April 2015.
The contract for the Hong Kong Island comprises 6 government offices and buildings and 5 facilities with a total gross floor area of 160,478 square metres, 14 government quarters and properties with 1,259 residential units. Major properties and facilities include the Harbor Building and the Queensway Government Offices.
Whereas the contract for the Kowloon region comprises 11 government offices and buildings and 2 facilities with a total gross floor area of 255,949 square metres, 9 Government Quarters and properties with 959 residential units. Major properties and facilities include the Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices, the Trade and Industry Department Tower in Mongkok and West Kowloon Disciplined Services Quarters.
