Three facilities under the management of Urban Group namely The Grand Millennium Plaza at Sheung Wan, The Victoria Shanghai Academy at Aberdeen and Parc Palais at Homantin recently received the "Excellence in Facilities Management Award" (EFMA) presented by The Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM). These awards recognize the facility management services of Urban including technological advancement, green initiatives, carbon reduction, barrier-free access, and high occupational health and safety standard.
The Grand Millennium Plaza received the "Excellence in Facilities Management Award (Office Building)". The Grand Millennium Plaza, located at the commercial hub of Sheung Wan, was completed in 1997. Through the implementation of its unique Urban Premier Management ModelT, Urban Group has been providing the best property asset and facility services to the commercial users, which include property asset management, environmental sanitation services, financial management, repair and maintenance, safety and security and landscaping design and management, enabling it to maintain as the premier grade-A office building in the locale.
The Victoria Shanghai Academy received the "Excellence in Facilities Management Award (Institutions & GPA)". Located at Shum Wan Road of Aberdeen, the campus of the Victoria Shanghai Academy houses 60 classrooms and 9 project rooms for both its primary and secondary divisions. Apart from these educational facilities, Urban also provides its quality management services to other facilities including the swimming pool, cafeteria, visual arts rooms, dance studio, basketball court, and libraries. Urban has set up a professional facilities management team to identify the requirements of different users of the Academy and works closely with the school management to stipulate the best service solutions for them by providing a pleasant study environment at the campus.
Parc Palais received the "Excellence in Facilities Management Award (Private Residential)". Parc Palais is a landmark luxurious development in Homantin, which comprises blocks of residential buildings with 700 distinct charm and elegant units. Since its completion in 2004, Urban Group has been providing its premier concierge services to the residents to maximize the asset values for the owners.
