Urban Group and its 12 associated companies recently awarded the Caring Company Certificates in the Caring Company Scheme of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) to recognize their endeavours in practicing good corporate citizenship to care for the welfare of the community.
Urban Group has been supporting the Caring Company Scheme since 2002. Apart from Urban Property Management Ltd receiving the 10 Consecutive Years Caring Company Certificate, 9 companies under Urban Group had been participating in the Caring Company Scheme from 2003 and were invited to attend the Organizer's Event during the Caring Company Partnership Expo held on 22nd January 2013 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, officiated by The Hon Carrie Lam, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR Government. Urban Group is also a Patron's Club member of the Scheme since 2006 to help build a caring community in Hong Kong.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group reveals, "Urban Group has been actively participating in the Caring Company Scheme since its inception in 2002. We have a total of 13 companies receiving Caring Company Certificates in the event, reflecting our continuous efforts in caring for the well-beings of the community, our employees and the environment. It also demonstrates our commitment to practice corporate social responsibility."
