Urban Group launches "Environmental Sanitation Management
Handbook for Prevention of Infectious Diseases"

In view of the recent spread of various kinds of infectious diseases in Hong Kong, Urban Group has launched the "Environmental Sanitation Management Handbook for Prevention of Infectious Diseases" in May this year to update the latest information on various diseases and alert its customers to pay attention to personal and environmental hygiene.

The "Environmental Sanitation Management Handbook for Prevention of Infectious Diseases" includes the following content:

• The strategy and service scope of "Urban Group Crisis Communications Centre";
• The precautionary measures launched by "Urban Group Environmental Sanitation Management Scheme" in the properties under its service;
• "3-Tier Crisis Communications Alert System" and "Operational Guideline for Public Area and Facility Cleaning";
• "Guideline for Personal Hygiene" and the proper steps of wearing sanitary facemask and washing hands;
• The symptoms, ways of spread and preventive measures of various kinds of infectious diseases (e.g. Avian Flu, Dengue Fever, Influenza and EV-71 Infection)
