Urban Group wins 4 Awards from HKHA to become HK's Most Outstanding Environmental Care Manager

Urban Group won 2 "Most Environmental Friendly Property Management Agent Awards" presented by the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HKHA) in December 2002 for its outstanding performance in environmental care. Moreover, 2 public rental housing estates under its management Tin Tsz Estate in Tin Shui Wai and Oi Tung Estate in Shau Kei Wan also received the "Quality Environmental Protection Public Estate Award" from HKHA respectively. The Awards recognized and reflected the great achievements of Urban Group in environmental care and management.

According to Managing Director of Urban Group Dr Edmond Cheng, "We always strive to provide our Premier Property and Facility Management Services to the Hong Kong people. In our Urban Premier Management Model, we emphasize 'Community Care' and 'Green Lifestyle'. Our aim is to create a green living environment for our customers through the formulation of Environmental Management Policies and Strategies and the organization of various environmental care activities for the properties."

Dr Edmond Cheng stressed, "One of our missions in Urban is to build up the best living environment for our customers. We implement the Environmental Management Concept among the 300 properties managed by us. We appeal for total participation of our customers to create an environmental care lifestyle and to contribute to the status of a Green City for Hong Kong."

Urban Group's contributions to environmental protection received recognition from the society. Over the past years, Urban have won a total of 23 awards in environmental protection and care, which assured its status as the Environmental Care Manager in the Hong Kong property and facility management industry.
