77 Security Guards of Urban Awarded "Outstanding Security Guards"

¡@¡@77 security guards of the Urban Group were awarded "Outstanding Security Guards" in the 2001-2002 Eastern District Fight Crime Campaign: "Outstanding Caretakers/Security Guards Award Scheme" organized by the Eastern Fight Crime Committee, Eastern Police and Eastern District Council. Urban has the largest number of security guards selected in this Scheme, showing their emphasis on providing quality security services to the property owners.

¡@¡@The 77 awarded guards of Urban came from Lei King Wan, Harbour Heights, Tung Chun Court and Park Vale. They received high scores in the Award Scheme reflecting their efforts in serving the residents had been well recognized by the Police, the property owners as well as within the industry.

¡@¡@Mr P C Lau, Deputy Managing Director of Urban said, "the great achievements of our 77 guards in this Award Scheme attribute to our strict demand on their performance and our continuous on-the-job training provided to them. These enhance their alertness in daily work so as to protect our clients."

¡@¡@"We have started to nominate security guards to join the 'Outstanding Caretakers/Security Guards Award Scheme" since 1991. Until now, over 400 security personnel in Urban have been awarded, which is a remarkable achievement for the Group.
