Cheong Shing Court managed by Urban wins Championship of North District HOS Courts Cleaning Competition

Cheong Shing Court and Wing Fai Centre managed by Urban Property Management Limited received two awards in the "North District HOS Courts Cleaning Competition" organized by the North District Keep Hong Kong Clean Committee and the North District Council. The awards recognized the high cleaning standard of the two estates and as well demonstrated the joint efforts of the owners and estate management staff to achieve the best result in maintaining the environment clean.

Cheong Shing Court was the Championship and Wing Fai Centre had been awarded for the second time in the same competition.

During the Prizes Presentation Ceremony held on 17th February 2001, Mr W C Yip, Chairman of the Keep Hong Kong Cleaning Committee said the competition helped enhance the awareness of residents and property management companies in the locale on promoting environmental hygiene. It also helped consolidate the community spirit in the creation of a pleasant living environment for the residents.

Urban commenced managing Cheong Shing Court in March 2000. The estate is a medium scale Home Ownership Scheme Project comprising 4 towers with 1,280 units. Wing Fai Centre is a PSPS Project comprising 4 towers with 1,350 units, and has been managing by Urban since 1996.

Mr P C Lau, Executive Director of Urban was pleased with the achievement of Cheong Shing Court and Wing Fai Centre. He said the good result was attributed to the co-operation and efforts of the owner representatives, residents, estate management staff and the cleaning contractors. He hoped their staff could maintain a good service standard so that the residents would be able to enjoy the result of a neat and tidy living environment.

In order to ensure the quality of the cleaning service provided by Urban, we strictly require our cleaning contractor to adhere to our quality management system. This explain why the two estates can achieve outstanding result in this competition," said Mr Lau.
