Urban Property Management participates in Environmental Protection Campaigns by FoE

Urban Property Management Limited has been participating in various environmental protection and recycling campaigns to promote the awareness and importance of protecting the environment to the property owners and tenants in Hong Kong.

During last Christmas, Urban joined the "Green Christmas Campaign" organized by the Friend of the Earth (FoE). On the 23rd of December 2000, Urban joined with the FoE to present the "Christmas Chorus Performance" at the Open Piazza of Grand Millennium Plaza in Sheung Wan. Programmes of the event included Chinese Orchestra Performance, Christmas Carol by voluntary workers from the FoE and interesting games concerning environmental protection, which attracted hundreds of people to attend.

Moving into 2001, Urban has joined the "Christmas Card Collection and Recycling Campaign" organized by FoE. Apart from the head office of Urban, more than 80 properties under its management have set up collection boxes to collect old Christmas cards for recycling since the 2nd of January 2001.

Currently, Urban manages 233 projects territory-wide, which exceeds 120,000 residential units, 17 million square feet of commercial and industrial premises and more than 30,000 car parking spaces. Since 1994, the company has been extending its service to the Central to Mid-Levels Escalator and Walkway System to provide its professional service to the public facility.
