Urban Group and 7 of its associated companies, including Urban Property Management Limited, International Property Management Limited, Turning Technical Services Limited, Broadway-Nassau Investments Limited, Paramatta Estate Management Limited, Harbour Heights (Management) Limited and Lei King Wan (Management) Limited, together with 113 properties under the management of Urban, received a total of 121 certificates in the presentation ceremony of “2023 Friends of EcoPark”, recognizing the Group’s outstanding performance in promoting environmental protection and implementing green management practices in our daily business operations. The ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai on 12 December 2023, with the presence of officiating guests, including Ms. Diane WONG Shuk-han, JP, the Under Secretary for Environment and Ecology Bureau.
Dr. Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group remarked, “This year marks the 8th consecutive year of participation by Urban Group in this event. Over the years, we have been committed to innovation and upholding the corporate mission of ‘Caring for the Environment, Promoting Green Living’, fostering sustainable development and environmental conservation. We are dedicated to fulfilling our corporate social responsibility by actively engaging in various waste recycling and energy-saving initiatives. Additionally, through organizing environmental activities, we aim to enhance stakeholders' environmental awareness and collectively promote sustainable living.”
The “Friends of EcoPark” program was launched by the Environmental Protection Department in 2010, which aims to promote collaboration between public and private organizations, inspire corporate social responsibility, and encourage the reduction, reuse, and recycling of waste resources.
