Urban Group and 4 of its associated companies, including Urban Property Management Limited, International Property Management Limited, Broadway - Nassau Investments Limited and Turning Technical Services Limited, together with 118 managed properties, recently received a total of 123 certificates in the programme of “2022 Friends of EcoPark”, in recognition of the Group’s support in environmental protection.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group remarked, “We are pleased to be entitled as ‘Friends of EcoPark’ again this year. Over the years, we have spent extensive resources implementing environmental protection measures in our managed properties and facilities. As a socially responsible corporation, we hope to advocate behavioral changes of our customers to live in a green lifestyle. We believe by recycling and waste reduction, protect the environment and make a difference of the current situation.”
Since 2010, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the award scheme "Friends of EcoPark", which aims to provide an efficient collaboration platform between the tenants of EcoPark and the private or public organizations, as well as to support continuous development of the local recycling industry. This year, there were 210 organizations being presented with the award recognitions.
