5 companies under Urban Group receive ‘Happy Company’ Label in Happiness-At-Work Promotional Scheme 2022. In particular, Urban Property Management Limited was granted the ‘Happy Company 10 YEARS’ Label, in recognition of the Group’s continuous efforts on building a pleasant workplace and spreading positive attitude for 10 consecutive years.
The Scheme is organized by the Promoting Happiness Index Foundation. The Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 3 August 2022 officiated by Mr Yeung Yun Hung, Kevin, GBS, JP, the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism and Dr Shi Lop Tak, Allen, BBS, MH, JP, the President of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, aiming to encourage local companies’ and organizations’ creation of a happy workplace culture and to improve the happiness level of Hong Kong people at work. In an attempt to be awarded as ‘Happy Company’, at least two out of the four areas including ‘Corporate Love’, ‘Corporate Insight’, ‘Corporate Fortitude’ and ‘Corporate Engagement’ have to be fulfilled.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group revealed, “Urban Group aims to achieve work-life balance through distributing health-boosting fruits, organizing various sport-related staff activities including football match, yoga class and Muay Thai training course etc. The Group always values staff and cares about their physical and mental well-being.”
