Urban Group recently received the “Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) Management Award for Business Resilience & Community Contribution (Innovation for Excellence)” in the program of “Recognition Awards for Organisations 2022”, in recognition of the Group’s excellence in innovation and technology applications. The award presentation ceremony was held at the Ballroom of Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui on 26 August 2022, with the attendance of over 40 notable organisations from various business sectors, which include Real Estate, Property & Facility Management, Catering, Exhibition as well as Social Services etc.
During the ceremony, Dr. Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group was granted the “Leadership Award for Business Resilience & Community Contribution” by Dr. Michael P. H. Lam, Chief Executive Officer of HKQAA, commending Dr. Cheng for his outstanding leadership in leading the Group to tackle difficult challenges under COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, Ms. Cherry Ng, Assistant Community Relations Manager of Urban Group, was granted the “Frontline Award for Business Resilience & Community Contribution”, acknowledging her dedication to excellence in coordination and consultation work in the properties since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group remarked, “We are delighted that Urban’s achievements in smart property management have been highly recognized by HKQAA. Entering the new era of technology, we always encourage our staff to be bold in innovation and meeting challenges, to actively incorporate technology innovations into business operations so as to improve work process and efficiency. For example, we deploy smart drone in routine property inspections as well as implement smart mobile Apps to improve the customer service experience, and so forth. In future, we would continue to reinforce the development in smart property management with the aim of creating a better living environment for our customers.”
