During the deteriorating COVID-19 situation, Urban Group has implemented the comprehensive anti-epidemic support scheme to protect the safety and health of our clients, staff and the community including executing a series of professional preventive measures under the Group’s managed properties, caring infected staff as well as offering precautionary equipment and self-test kits. Moreover, as a social responsible enterprise, Urban Group donated 200 Food and Anti-Epidemic packs to the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (YMCA) so as to take care of the needs of elderly and underprivileged families in April 2022.
Urban Group joined hands with YMCA again after the virtual service program, which provided supports to care the mental and physical health of elderly. As the fifth wave of the epidemic is rampant, the Group acknowledged the needs of community immediately and decided to distribute the caring packs with food, anti-epidemic items, self-test kits and cooling patch to 600 beneficiaries, covering the elderly living alone in Chai Wan District and 100 underprivileged families in Kwun Tong District.
