Urban Group and 4 of its associated companies, including Urban Property Management Limited, International Property Management Limited, Broadway - Nassau Investments Limited and Turning Technical Services Limited, together with 94 managed properties, recently received a total of 99 certificates in the programme of “2021 Friends of EcoPark”, in recognition of the Group’s extensive effort in green management.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group said, “We are delighted to be granted as ‘Friends of EcoPark’ again this year. With an ethos of corporate social responsibility, we have leveraged massive resources in implementing environmental protection measures and taking part in different environmentally activities, so as to improve stakeholder engagement in sustainable development and to raise the public awareness of living a green lifestyle .”
"Friends of EcoPark" is an award scheme launched by the Environmental Protection Department since 2010, aiming to provide an efficient collaboration platform between the tenants of EcoPark and the private or public organizations, as well as to support continuous development of the local recycling industry. This year, there were 248 organizations being presented with the award recognitions.
