Urban Group received a total of 85 awards in the "BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards 2020". In particular, 7 properties under the Group, namely Grand View Garden, Ka Tin Court, Kingsford Terrace, Kwai Yin Court, Kwun Hei Court, Lung Poon Court and Pok Hong Estate were awarded as "5 Years+ EcoPioneer", in compliment of their concerted efforts to adopt green management into daily operations and to raise public awareness on environmental protection.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group said, "Urban Group has spent extensive resources in implementing environmental protection measures for years. It is delightful that there are more managed properties being awarded of their remarkable accomplishments this year. In the future, we will continue the mission of spreading green message in order to foster our stakeholder engagement in environmental protection activities."
The programme of "BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards" is jointly organized by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited (BOCHK) since 2005. The award scheme aims to promote environmental practices among the manufacturing and services enterprises in Hong Kong and the Pan Pearl River Delta region, helping to reduce the pollution in these areas.
