4 companies under Urban Group recently received the Joyful @ Healthy Workplace Best Practices Award presented by the Hong Kong Occupational Safety and Health Council (OSHC) for the second consecutive years. In particular, Broadway-Nassau Investments Limited, International Property Management Limited and Turning Technical Services Limited gain the “Merit Award” and Urban Property Management Limited grasps the “Excellent Award” to commend their contributions in advocating occupational health for their staff.
The Department of Health, Labour Department and OSHC jointly launched the "Joyful @ Healthy Workplace" Best Practices Award to recognize and encourage companies to create an organizational culture in caring the mental and physical health of their employees.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group revealed, “Continuous improvement and keep abreast of times are important for promoting joyful at work and a caring culture in our Group. We have established the OSH Committee, Sports and Recreation Committee and the Community Care Team since 2002. Committee members come from different ranks and they are responsible for organizing activities in OSH, physical and mental health for employees every year, aiming to create a harmonious and joyful working environment for all our staff.”
