A Special Duty Officer of Urban Group received HKCT Merit Award

A Special Duty Officer of Urban Group recently received the Merit Award from the Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT) in its Outstanding Trainees Election held on 19 August 2016, in recognition of his performance in customer service.

Mr Li Peiquan Tony joined the Group in 2015 through participating in the Specialized Security Services Training Programme organized by the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) and HKCT, and has been appointed as Special Duty Officer (Security), to receive a one-year-on-the-job training at the Merton in Kennedy Town.  Since then, Mr Li has been demonstrating enthusiasm and flexibility in his work, and was then nominated by Ms Gigi Chow, Senior Property Asset Manager, to participate in the Outstanding Trainees Election of HKCT, and received the Merit Award as an appreciation to his remarkable performance.

Urban Group has been supporting the Specialized Security Services Training Programme since 2015 and became an employer organization by offering on-the-job training to 20 Programme Graduates, assisting them in exploring their careers and providing professional property management and security services to their properties.  Besides joining this Programme, the Group also supports HKCT by employing graduates who have attained certificates in security services and property management, and arranging site visits for the graduates, allowing them to learn more on the actual working environment of property management.
