Urban Property Management Limited (“UPML”) and International Property Management Limited (“IPML”) under Urban Group have recently bagged 3 major awards in the 2015 Security Services Best Training Award Scheme. These awards include the Grand Award given to UPML, the Gold Award (for Type I Security Services Companies) to UPML and the Silver Award (for Type I Security Services Companies) to IPML.
The award presentation ceremony, held on 14 March 2016 at the Police Headquarters, was officiated by Mr Lau Yip Shing, Director of Operations, the Hong Kong Police Force; Ms Jane Curzon Lo, Chairlady of the Security Services Training Board, VTC; and, Mr Daniel Cham Ka-hung, BBS, MH, JP, Chairman of the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority. This year is the 6th year of the Security Services Best Training Award Scheme, which aims to promote training initiatives and grant recognition to the property management and security companies for their best practices and commitments in training.
Mr Lau Yip Shing, Director of Operations, the Hong Kong Police Force emphasized the close cooperation between the frontline security guards and the police force which had contributed to a continuous decline of crime rate. He hoped the Awards would further encourage property management and security companies to sustain their efforts in conducting quality training to enhance the entire service standard of the industry.
