Urban Group recently receives the Happy Company Label presented by the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) in two consecutive years to commend its contributions in establishing a happy workplace.
The Happy Organization Label Scheme is organized by The Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and HKPC to encourage businesses and organizations to create a happy working environment and to raise the happiness-at-work level of the local workforce. The certificate presentation ceremony was held on 13th June, 2014 at HKPC and officiated by Mr Gregory So Kam-leung, GBS, JP, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group revealed, "We truly value our staff as the most important asset of Urban. We believe in 'Happy Staff serving Happy Customers'. Hence, we provide the best working environment for our staff so as to enhance their senses of belongings towards the company. We aim to align our staff's personal goals with our corporate vision to build up a committed workforce."
