13 properties under Urban Group received 29 awards in the 2012 Kowloon West Best Security Services Award jointly organized by the Regional Crime Prevention Office of the Kowloon West Headquarters of the Hong Kong Police, the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority (SGSIA) and the Hong Kong Association of Property Management Companies (HKAPMC).
Awards received by Urban include the "Treble-Star Managed Property", "Star Managed Property", "Best Managed Property", "Outstanding Managed Property", "Best Managed Carpark", "Outstanding Managed Carpark", "Best Security Guard" and "Outstanding Security Guard".
The Award Presentation Ceremony was held on 6th June, 2013 at the Police Sports and Recreation Club which was officiated by Mr Cheung Kwai-kee, District Commander (Yau Tsim) of the Hong Kong Police and Mr. Daniel Cham Ka-hung, B.B.S., M.H., J.P., Chairman of SGSIA
Mr Cheung Kwai-kee thanked the security personnel for their contributions in preventing crime and providing a safe living environment for the residents during the Ceremony. He also encouraged all awarded companies and guards to continue maintaining a high quality service standard to assist the police in preventing and fighting crime.
