Urban Group recently participated in the ChariTea Campaign organized by the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) to help promote the message of "Caring for Self, Caring for the Employees and Caring for the Community". The campaign aims to help spread a caring message to the working class women in different districts through distribution of red date teabags to them on the March 8 Women's Day.
As a caring company, Urban Group presents 100 of red date teabags to its female employees on that day to spread the message of care within the Group.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group reveals, "As a responsible company, Urban Group cares about the welfare of our employees and treats them as our partners. We cater for their well beings through various work enhancement programmes and activities to bring a healthy work-life balance to them. Through this activity of presenting red date teabags to our female employees, we express our thanks to the contributions made by the female employees over the company and their family and to achieve the company goal of caring for our employees. Moreover, a donation box was also placed in the venue to raise fund for the campaign."
The fund raised in the campaign would be donated to various female services of YWCA. It would also be used to fund the project of distributing red date teabags to the female service targets of YWCA.
