23 properties under Urban Group support World Vision's Used Book Recycling and Charity Sale

Urban Group has been supporting World Vision Hong Kong to launch the "Used Book Recycling and Charity Sale Campaign" for the 12th consecutive years since 2001. This year, the Campaign obtained overwhelming supports from customers of 23 properties under the Group with over 40,000 books collected for the World Vision's Secondary School Construction Project in the Shaanxi Province of China.

The 23 properties under Urban Group participated in the Campaign include:
City One Shatin, Prime View Garden (Tuen Mun), Queen's Terrace (Sheung Wan), Parc Palais (Ho Man Tin), The Merton (Sheung Wan), Kam Tai Court (Ma On Shan ), Riviera Gardens (Tsuen Wan), Mei Foo Sun Chun, Scholastic Garden (Mid-levels), Lyttelton Garden (Mid-levels), Lei King Wan (Sai Wan Ho), Aldrich Garden (Shau Kei Wan), Tin Yau Court (Tin Shui Wan), Cheong Shing Court (Fanling), Bon Point (Mid-levels), Park Vale (Quarry Bay), Park Road No.2 (Mid-levels), Rhythm Garden (San Po Kong), Clovelly Court (Mid-levels), Severn Hill (The Peak), Sereno Verde (Yuen Long), Yee Ga Court (Mid-levels), Ko Chun Court (Sai Ying Pun)

Mr. K M So, Executive Director of Urban Group states that, "With our corporate missions of 'Green Lifestyle' and 'Community Care', we have obtained the support from customers of 23 properties to participate in the Used Book Recycling and Charity Sale Campaign this year.  Books collected from our customers include textbooks, leisure readings, novels, children's readers and reference books, which were donated to World Vision Hong Kong to assist their educational programmes in the Mainland China, and most importantly, to contribute to environmental protection and to lessen the financial burden of parents in purchasing books for their children."
