Urban Group and its 12 associated companies recently received the 2011/12 Caring Company recognition from The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS). Within them, Urban Property Management Ltd(UPML) has been supporting the Caring Company campaign since 2002 and received "10 Consecutive years Caring Company" Certificate. Whereas 10 companies under Urban Group received the "5-Year Plus Caring Company" Certificates, 1 company received "5 Consecutive years Caring Company" Certificate and 1 company received Caring Company Certificate. The Certificates recognize their participations in the Scheme in promoting corporate social responsibility.
Urban Group is also a Patron's Club member of the Scheme since 2006 to help build a caring community with other commercial organizations in Hong Kong.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group reveals, "Urban Group has been actively participating in the Caring Company Scheme since its inception in 2002. Totally 13 companies received Caring Company Certificates in 2012, demonstrating our continuous efforts in caring for the well-beings of the community, our employees and the environment. It also demonstrates our endeavours and commitment to shoulder our corporate social responsibility."
