3 properties under Urban Group recently received 5 Good Class Indoor Air Quality (IQA) Certificates in the Indoor Air Quality Certificate Award Ceremony 2011 organized by the IAQ Information Centre under the Environmental Protection Department (EPD). The Certificate is awarded to premises that comply with the respective IAQ objectives to recognize their efforts in implementing good IAQ practices to achieve good indoor air quality and providing a pleasant working environment for the users.
The properties under Urban Group receiving the IAQ Good Class Certificates include:
Dr. Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group said, "Urban Group is committed to provide a good and healthy indoor environment for our staff and customers. We have been actively participating in the IAQ Certification Scheme for Offices and Public Places organized by EPD and have approved examiners to assess the IAQ standard of our premises against the respective IAQ objectives. Moreover, we have implemented a number of enhancement projects to upgrade the indoor air quality of various properties such as installing air purifiers in the buildings, replacing stainless steel louvers and ducks in the PAU rooms, replacing PAU filters and scheduled regular cleaning for the filters and ducks, so as to ensure the highest level of air quality for all users of the properties."
