Urban Group recently received the ERB Outstanding Employer Award in the 3rd Manpower Development Scheme Award Presentation of the Employees Retraining Board (ERB), recognizing its participation and support to the ERB Manpower Development Scheme and endeavours in providing job opportunities for the retrainees.
The ERB Manpower Development Scheme Award is an annual event aiming to recognize outstanding retraining students, dedicated employers and partnering training organizations who actively support and participate in the Scheme.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group reveals, "Urban Group has a long standing working relationship with ERB and its partnering training organizations for over 10 years. We actively support its retraining programmes amd have employed a large number of its graduates in our managed properties over the past years. Apart from providing managing and security jobs for the retrainees, we have also opened up new job opportunities for them such as concierge and club house assistants. We also contribute comments and suggestions on the contents and development of the ERB programmes so as to enhance the skills and employdability of the retrainees."
