17 properties under Urban Group collected 25,000 used books to support World Vision's Charity Book Sales for 10 consecutive years

Urban Group has been supporting World Vision Hong Kong to launch the Used Book Recycling and Charity Sale Campaign for the 10th consecutive years since 2001.  In this year, the Campaign obtained overwhelming supports from customers of 17 properties under the Group with over 25,000 books collected for the World Vision's Secondary School Construction Project in the Shaanxi Province of the Mainland China.

The 17 properties under Urban Group participated in the Campaign include:

We established our Green Care Committee in 2002, which since then initiates and implements our 4Rs Environmental Management Strategy of Remind, Replace, Reduce and Recycle in our service network to promote a green lifestyle to our customers.  We have been supporting World Vision Hong Kong to launch the Used Book Recycling and Charity Sale Campaign for the 10th consecutive years and have obtained the support from customers of 17 properties this year.  The collected books have been donated to World Vision Hong Kong to assist their educational programmes in the Mainland China, and most importantly, to contribute to environmental protection and to lessen the financial burden of parents in purchasing books for their children."
