Urban Group recently received the Employer Merit Award in the 2nd Manpower Development Scheme Award Presentation of the Employees Retraining Board (ERB) for the second consecutive year.
The Manpower Development Scheme Award is an annual event of ERB aiming to recognize outstanding retraining students, dedicated employers and partnering training organizations who actively support and participate in the ERB Manpower Development Scheme.
Ms Janna Cheng, Senior Group Manager - Human Capital reveals, ¡§ Urban Group has been a long term partner of ERB. We actively support its retraining programmes over the past years. Apart from providing employment opportunities for its graduates, we also contribute our comments and suggestions on the contents and development of the training programmes so as to enhance the skills and employdability of the retrainees.¡¨

The Group has jointly organized various courses on property management and security services with ERB and employed a large number of the graduated retraining students. Besides, the Group has received Employer Merit Award in 2001, 2006 and 2008 respectively, showing its contributions to Hong Kong¡¦s manpower development.
