Manning House in Central under the service of Urban Group recently won the Biggest Percentage Saver Award - (Property Management) Championin the 4th PowerSmart Contest organized by the Friends of the Earth (HK) and 9other properties under the Group also received a Certificate in the same event, commending their efforts and contributions to energy saving and environmental management.
Manning House, an upmarket commercial building of New World Group, has been managing by Urban Group since 1989. In 2009, Urban Group introduced its environmental management approach in managing the premises and implemented a series of energy efficiency measures in its daily operations including the installation of time controller at common areas and the replacement of the HVAC system by a more energy efficient one so as to reduce the electricity consumption overwhelmingly by 91.51%.
