Urban Group receives Merit Award in 香港驕傲企業品牌選舉2007

Urban Group recently received the Merit Award in 香港驕傲企業品牌選舉2007 jointly organized by Ming Pao and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Msc in Marketing), to become the only property asset and facility management company that garnered in the category of Property Development/Property Agency/Property Management, reinforcing its leading position in corporate brand strategies formulation and development among its rivalries in the market place. 

The Awards Presentation Ceremony was held on 9th October 2007 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Wan Chai.  Through recognizing Hong Kong based enterprises that excel in corporate branding, the Award aimed to raise public awareness on Hong Kong brands and to emphasize the precedence of quality brands among business enterprises, ultimately building Hong Kong 'The City of Quality Brands'.  The Panel of Judges of the Award is constituted by a group of authoritative professionals, while public voting also contributes significantly to the final scores.  The impartial judging mechanism has demonstrated a high level of credibility and trustworthiness of the Award.  Since the judging criteria focuses on three major areas, namely: brand strategies and executions; brand management and culture; and corporate results and achievements, all awardees are renowned brand names that outperform their competitors in both quality and services. 

Professor Sin Yat Ming, Leo, Director of the Master of Science Programme in Marketing of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) says, "Seven core values should be highlighted in order to establish an excellent brand.  Enterprises must possess innovative ideas, a desirable brand culture, trustworthy products, quality services, a unique brand value, outstanding employees and a passion on corporate social responsibility."
