Urban Group, the property asset and facility management arm of NWS Holdings, was recently appointed by Victoria Shanghai Academy to manage its brand new comprehensive campus facility at 19 Shum Wan Road, the Southern District to provide its quality facility asset management services for the project.
The Facility Asset Management Contract Signing Ceremony between Urban Group and Victoria Shanghai Academy was held on 17th August 2007. Representing the two parties to sign the management contract had Ms Maggie Koong, School Director of Victoria Shanghai Academy, and Mr K M So, Executive Director of Urban Group.
Located at Shum Wan Road, Southern District, the new campus of Victoria Shanghai Academy is housing 11 floors of main classroom blocks with 60 classrooms and 9 project rooms for both Primary and Secondary sections. Other facilities of the new campus include a Multi-purpose Hall, DT Workshop, Swimming Pool, Cafeteria, Visual Arts Rooms, Dance Studio, Music Room and Practice Rooms, Orchestra Room, Dance Studio, Drama Studio, Auditorium, Multi-media Production Centre, Student Activity Centre, Amphi Theatre, Covered Playground, Basketball Court, Soccer Pitch, Rooftop Track-and-Field Sportsground and Libraries for Primary and Secondary Section.
Executive Director of Urban Group Mr K M So said during the Ceremony, "Urban Group was delighted to have been trusted by the Board of Directors and the management of Victoria Shanghai Academy and being appointed to be the facility manager of its new campus facility at Island South. With our proven experiences in managing different types of property and facility assets, we will strive to provide the best management services to the school. Our professional staff members deployed at the Academy will work closely with the school management to provide a pleasant study environment for the teachers and students."
