Urban Group presents 2005 Christmas Lighting Switch-on Ceremony
at Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard

Urban Group, a member of NWS Holdings Limited, lighted up the central shopping hub of Tsimshatsui through its 2005 Christmas Lighting Switch-on Ceremony held at the Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard.

Officiating at the Ceremony had Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group; Mr C C Yu, Managing Director and Deputy General Manager of Yue Hwa Chinese Products Emporium; Mr Kevin M Woods, District Commander of Yau Tsim District of the Hong Kong Police Force and pop singer Ms Tiffany Lee.

This year, the theme of the Christmas lighting at Park Lane is "Season's Greetings at Park Lane". Urban Group has designed a 1,100 feet long delightful festive decoration featuring a 3 metre tall castle located at the Boulevard with bubbles, merrily Christmas characters and gifts to establish a warm and enjoyable shopping environment at the arcade.

Moreover, Urban Group had prepared a series of rich programmes for the owners and tenants, guests and tourists at the arcade during the Ceremony including the Police Pipe Band performance, European acrobatics show, street dance, violin performance, Christmas chorus, and singing performance by singer Ms Tiffany Lee; enabling tourists and shoppers to enjoy the delightful atmosphere of the coming Christmas seasons.

Speaking at the Ceremony, Managing Director of Urban Group Dr Edmond Cheng pointed out, "Urban Group has been managing Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard since its completion in 1986. Since then, we have been erecting glamourous and festive Christmas lighting decoration for the shopping arcade every year, which has successfully established Park Lane as a popular shopping hub and a remarkable landmark in Hong Kong."
