This year, after becoming the third ranked Best Employers in Asia - Hong Kong again in early April, we have also exceeded other Hong Kong enterprises and listed companies to be selected as the 2005 Best Employers in Asia. This affirmed our implementation of Total Quality Management, which resulted in excellent performance and continuous improvement as well as our success in building up a fully committed workforce."

Dr Cheng stated that even though Urban has experienced an unfavourable business environment over the last few years, we continue to reward those outstanding staff and provide them with promotion opportunities. Moreover, we respect and care our staff members as part of the larger Urban Family and organize different social activities for them and their family. This enables us to maintain a very low annual turnover rate of staff.
