Urban Group receives Best Managed Facility Awards in 2 consecutive years

Following the success in obtaining the "Facility Management Establishment Awards 2003" last year, Urban Group recently received the "Best Managed Facility Awards 2004 (Residential Facility) - Gold Award" from Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM) again through its services for City One Shatin, recognizing the premier property asset and facility management services of the Group.

Organized by HKIFM, the "Best Managed Facility Awards 2004" aims to promote facility management profession to our society, encourage the sharing of best practices among facility management professionals in order to enhance the overall management service quality through the competition. City One Shatin under the management of Urban Group became the winner of "Best Managed Facility Awards 2004 (Residential Facility) - Gold Award" through its comprehensive Built Asset Revitalization Project for the property, confirming the outstanding performance in providing high quality management services and striving to enhance the asset value of properties by Urban Group.

Mr. K M So, Director - Facility Management of Urban Group revealed, "It is our great honour to receive the 'Best Managed Facility Awards' from HKIFM in 2 consecutive years, reflecting our leading position in Hong Kong's Property Asset and Facility Management Industry. As the Quality Market Leader, Urban Group has been providing high quality management services to our customers and striving to enhance the asset value of 320 properties under our management to exceed customers' expectation."

Mr. K M So pointed out that, "Urban Group initiated the Built Asset Revitalization Project of City One Shatin in 2000, aiming to create a better living environment for our customers as well as to increase the property asset value of the owners' investment. With the total investment of over HK$100 million, this Project covers refurbishment of external walls, redesign of a new hotel-styled lift lobby and reinforcement of water supply systems, which is expected to be completed in 2006. The ultimate goal is to re-position City One Shatin as the landmark residential facility in the district with a contemporary image and provide the best management services to our customers."
