Best Practices in Innovation (2003) and in CRM (2004)
Urban Group becomes Winner of Best Practice Awards in 2 consecutive years

Urban Group received the "2004 Best Practice Awards in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)" from the Best Practice Management Magazine this year, after its outstanding achievement in obtaining the "2003 Best Practice Awards in Innovation" last year, reflecting their excellent performance in launching innovative services and building up good customer relationship.

Organized by the Best Practice Management, the Best Practice Awards was first launched in 1999. The Awards aim to recognize the best practices of those eminent companies, reinforce their strengths and improve their weaknesses through benchmarking, which ultimately brings higher quality products and services to customers.

The 2004 Best Practice Awards Prize Presentation Ceremony was held on 4th November 2004 at the Sheraton Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui. A total of 8 award categories were launched this year, including "CRM", "Innovation", "Training and People Development", "Supply Chain Management", "Technology Deployment", "Outsourcing" and "Simplicity". Apart from being the Winner of 2004 Best Practices in CRM, Urban Group is also the major sponsor of the Awards as well as the Category Sponsor of the Innovation Category this year, aiming to enhance communications and management standard among enterprises in Hong Kong.

Urban Group launched its unique 21st Century Total Quality Management (TQM) approach - "The Urban Premier Management Model™" in 2002, emphasizing "People, Process and Performance". Through this model, Urban has re-engineered its quality services and corporate culture, which led them to obtain the "HKMA Quality Award - Overall Winner" in 2003, reflecting the critical success of its progressive corporate direction.
