17 properties under Urban Group awards
"Fresh Water Plumbing Quality Maintenance Recognition Scheme Certificates"

Seventeen properties under Urban Group recently awarded the "Fresh Water Plumbing Quality Maintenance Recognition Scheme Certificate" presented by the Advisory Committee on the Quality of Water Supplies (ACQWS) under the Water Supplies Department, manifesting the proper maintenance of the water supplies systems at the properties and the provision of good quality water supplies to their customers.

The 17 awarded properties including Park Vale in Quarry Bay, Harbour Heights in North Point, Aldrich Garden and Oi Tung Estate in Shau Kei Wan, Tin Yat Estate and Tin Tsz Estate in Tin Shui Wai, Ching Wang Court and Cheung Wang Estate in Tsing Yi, Tak Tin Estate in Lam Tin, Lei King Wan in Sai Wan Ho, Sunningdale and Chow Tai Fook Centre in Mong Kok, Un Chau Estate in Sham Shui Po, Homantin Estate, Wah Kwai Estate in Tin Wan, Nga Ning Court in Cheung Chau as well as Grand Millennium Plaza in Sheung Wan. With Urban Group's professional services on the building facilities and engineering maintenance, the water supplies facilities and systems at the properties are keeping at the highest quality level.

Totally 85 companies obtained the Fresh Water Plumbing Quality Maintenance Recognition Scheme Certificate during the Presentation Ceremony held on 26th August at Regal Hong Kong Hotel. The Scheme aimed at encouraging local property management companies and property owners to conduct self-assessments on plumbing conditions and to identify areas for necessary maintenance, in order to enhance the quality of tap water and strengthen the confidence of users towards the quality of tap water.

Dr. Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group pointed out that, "To ensure our customers can enjoy good quality of water supplies, our professional property asset management and technical staff carry out regular inspection and quality maintenance services to the plumbing as well as other building services systems at the properties. The water supply systems of the properties under our management fully comply with the Drinking-Water Standard under the Guidelines of the World Health Organization to ensure a high quality of water supplies for our customers."

Dr. Edmond Cheng said, "We will continue to promote this Certification Scheme to all 320 properties under our management, expecting that more properties will receive the Certificate and their water supplies system and maintenance works can be carried out more effectively, which ultimately results in providing the best property asset and facility management services to our customers."
