Urban Group won 60 Web Care Awards

Following the success in obtaining 46 Web Care Awards in 2002, Urban Group again won a substantial number of 60 Awards, representing over 45% of the total awards in the Web Care Award 2004 Presentation Ceremony held at Cyberport on 15th May 2004, making it the First Property and Facility Management Group in Hong Kong to receive this important recognition in website management.

i-Urban Limited and its 58 websites won the Primary Level Web Care Awards while Urban Property Management Limited won the Secondary Level Web Care Award to recognize their fulfillment of the requirements of a Web Care portal.

Web Care Awards was organized by the Internet Professionals Association (iProA) aiming to promote the Web Care concept in Hong Kong and to encourage the public as well as private organizations to promote "barrier-free" internet services. iProA published the "Easy Guide to Building No Barrier Web Sites" booklet in 2001 to provide guidelines to web site designers, commercial organizations and media channels on how to produce web sites that can be used by all members of the community.
