2003 Christmas Lighting Switch-on Ceremony at Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard

Urban Group, a subsidiary of NWS Holdings Limited lights up the busy shopping area of Central Tsim Sha Tsui through its "Park Lane¡KYour Shopping Paradise" 2003 Christmas Lighting Switch-on Ceremony for Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard on 28th November 2003.
Officiating at the Ceremony had Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group, Mr. C. C Yu, Director and Deputy General Manager of Yue Hwa Chinese Products Emporium Ltd and Mr. K. M Woods, District Commander of Yau Tsim District of the Hong Kong Police Force.
Urban has been providing professional services since the establishment of Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard in 1986. Every Christmas, Urban designs glamorous and festive lighting for the prestigious shopping arcade to highlight the holiday atmosphere of the shopping hub in Tsim Sha Tsui. This year, the theme of the Christmas Lighting is "Park Lane¡KYour Shopping Paradise" portraying through the delightful festive decorations a "Six-star Standard" shopping environment so as to attract more people to shop and to experience the joy of shopping at Park Lane.
Speaking at the ceremony, Managing Director of Urban Dr Edmond Cheng pointed out, "Urban has been serving Park Lane with excellent asset and facility management service since 1986. And Park Lane has become a remarkable landmark of Hong Kong and a popular shopping hub in Hong Kong. Therefore, we will continue to upgrade ourselves and maintain our quality services with the spirit of Total Quality Management so as to make Park Lane a "Six-star Standard" Shopping Centre and provide the best retail atmosphere to all shop tenants in Park Lane."
Dr Edmond Cheng added, "The economy of Hong Kong is now bouncing back and boosting the economy of the territory becomes an important mission to the service industry of Hong Kong. Being a part of the service industry, Urban is now closely working with our Quality Partners on the contributions for the growth of the Hong Kong Economy and enlightening the "Oriental Pearl" again."
He concluded, " All of you will then see the wonderful lighting decorations of over 9m long along both sides of Park Lane Shopper's Boulevard and they are reflecting the fabulous future of Hong Kong. Also each staff from our working force of 4,200 in Urban Group is acting like a light bulb to give light and warmth continuously by serving the community devotedly, so as to establish a quality living environment to the people of Hong Kong."
