Premier Services leads to great recognition
93 Guards of Urban Group awarded 'Outstanding Security Guards'

Hong Kong's Premier Property and Facility Manager Urban Group recently received overwhelmingly 93 "Outstanding Security Guard Awards" in the Eastern District Outstanding Caretaker/ Security Guard Award Scheme to become the major winner in the event, maintaining their leading position in the industry.

The Eastern District Outstanding Caretakers/ Security Guards Award Scheme is organized by the Eastern Fight Crime Committee and co-organized by the Eastern District Office and the Eastern District Council. The Scheme aims to encourage and commend those caretakers and security guards with outstanding performance and services to the residents living in the locale.

Totally there were 100 estates in the Eastern District participated in the Scheme. Among the 396 Awards presented, Urban Group's security personnel obtained 93 prizes by their outstanding services in Lei King Wan, Park Vale, Harbour Height, Aldrich Bay, Tung Chun Court and Oi Tung Court, which indicated that their efforts were highly appreciated and well recognized. Within which, Lei King Wan, as one of the largest private housing estates under the Urban Group in the Eastern District, received 44 awards.

Accordingly to Assistant District Officer of the Eastern District Ms Y W Fung, "Security personnel helps us protect the lives and wealth of the people. The outstanding performance of the awarded security guards reflects the professionalism and effective training of the property management companies."

Managing Director of Urban Group Dr Edmond Cheng emphasized, "Security service is one of the important aspects in our daily routines. Therefore, we have stringent requirements and expectation towards our security staff. We customize a comprehensive training programme for them and provide them with modern equipment so as to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment to our 600,000 customers in the 150,000 units under our management."

Dr Edmond Cheng stated that, "In our unique 'Urban Premier Management Model', we emphasize 'Asset Management' and 'Continuous Improvement'. All our management and security personnel must improve their service quality to the Six-star Standard to 'Exceed our Customers' Expectation' and achieve the recognition from our customers."
