Ming Tak Estate under Urban Group wins Cleaning Championship in Tseung Kwan O

Managed by Urban Group, Ming Tak Estate in Tseung Kwan O was awarded Cleaning Championship in the "2002 Public Rental Housing Estates Cleaning Competition of Sai Kung District" organized by the Sai Kung Keeping Hong Kong Clean Regional Committee to become a role model among public housing estates.

The aim of the Competition is to promote the message of Keeping Hong Kong Clean to the general public through active participation of public rental housing estates in the district. Evaluations were conducted between October and November 2002 to select the outstanding estates.

According to Chairman of the Sai Kung Keeping Hong Kong Clean Regional Committee Chairman Mr Y M Chow, "The cleaning standard of the public housing estates in Sai Kung is very high. Ming Tak Estate managed by Urban Group obtained the Championship represents their outstanding management service standard at the estate has been well-recognized."

Whereas Mr P C Lau, Deputy Managing Director of Urban Group stated that, "After we launched the industry unique 'Urban Premier Management Model in September 2002, the service standard of Urban Group has been greatly enhanced. 'Continuous Improvement' is one of our Core Drivers in the Model to ensure that we can provide our Six-star Standard to our customers to exceed their expectation."

Mr P C Lau said, "The achievements of Ming Tak Estate in this Competition relies very much on the support of the Mutual Aided Committees and the active participation of all residents, together with the premier services of Urban Group and our strong supervision of the cleaning contractor."
