23 projects under the management of Urban Group received the “Excellence in Facilities Management (EFM) Awards” presented by The Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM) on 25th October 2019, reflecting the outstanding management services of Urban Group in technological advancement, green initiatives, carbon reduction, barrier-free access, and high occupational health and safety standard have been well recognized by the industry.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group said, “The remarkable achievements of the 23 properties in the HKIFM EFM Awards well demonstrated the Total Quality Management (TQM) approach of our Group. It also reflects the close working relations among the owners' representatives, individual tenants and Urban in continuously improving the service standards of the awarded projects. In future, we will continue to upload the professional standard of service and to maximize customers' asset value. We are committed to enhance the sustainable development of the properties and facilities to provide outstanding management services to our customers.”
The awards obtained by Urban Group include:
4 companies under Urban Group including Urban Property Management Limited, International Property Management Limited, Broadway-Nassau Investments Limited and Turning Technical Services Limited received the Partner Employer Certificates on 25th October 2019, which jointly presented by the Hong Kong Chamber of SMEs and the Hong Kong Vocational Training Council, commending their contributions in providing career opportunities for local graduates.

To fulfil our mission in developing young potentials, we have participated in various career development schemes throughout the years, including, ‘Job Shadowing Programme’, ‘VTC Industrial Attachment & Industrial-based Student Project Scheme’, ‘Summer Internship Programme’. In 2017, we have employed 37 local graduates and intern-students and assigned experienced colleagues to mentor them so as to enhance their competitiveness.”
