Two companies under Urban Group received the ‘Happy Company’ Label in the Happiness-At-Work Label Scheme 2019 Award Presentation Ceremony (‘the Ceremony’). In particular, Urban Property Management Limited (‘UPML’) received the ‘Happy Company 5+’ Label for receiving the ‘Happy Company’ Label for 5 or more successive years and Paramatta Estate Management Limited (‘PEML’) received the ‘Happy Company’ Label. The Labels commend the awarded companies’ contributions in establishing a happy workplace.
The Ceremony, which was held on 11th April 2019, was jointly organised by the Promoting Happiness Index Foundation and the Hong Kong Productivity Council (‘HKPC’) aiming to encourage businesses and organizations to create a happy working environment and to raise the happiness-at-work level of the local workforce. This year marked the 7th year in a row that UPML received the ‘Happy Company’ Label and PEML has been received the Label for 2 consecutive years.
Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group revealed, “One of our group’s mission is to promote staff’s work-life balance and cultivate a strong sense of belonging to the company.
