Three residential properties under the management of Urban Group, namely Rhythm Garden in San Po Kong, Grand View Garden in Diamond Hill and Lung Poon Court (Block A-F) in Wong Tai Sin, won 4 prizes in the 20th Wong Tai Sin District Quality Building Management Competition Award Presentation Ceremony held on 18th January, 2019.
“I am pleased that Rhythm Garden wins the Champion in the Wong Tai Sin District Quality Building Management Competition for 7 consecutive years. Our estate’s management team is committed to maintain a safe and sustainable community through effective security service and frequent cleaning service. For recycling activities, our staff in Rhythm Garden have invented a series of self-created environmental conservation tools for building maintenance and customer services including Trolley-type Paint Stain Remover, Air Cooler and Drencher Curtain Incense Incinerator.” Dr Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group remarked.
Rhythm Garden is the first batch of residential estates in the district that joins the Renewable Energy Feed-in Tariff Scheme offered by CLP Power Hong Kong Limited. 12 buildings in the estate have installed the solar power system, equivalent to 1,479 sqm of Photovoltaic Module, which can generate up to 16,000 to 17,500 kWh of electricity per month. The solar power is sold back to CLP. These outstanding achievements prompt them to win the Green Building Award in the same competition this year.
Grand View Garden installed power-saving illumination systems as well as high-definition CCTV system to improve security standard, whilst Lung Poon Court (Block A-F) also renovating the illumination system in the estate from fluorescent lamps to LED lights, and installed motion-detecting sensors to save energy consumption. The two estates receive the Second Runner-up and the Merit Award in the same category respectively. The Award highly recognizes the properties’ management services which become a role model of quality property management in the district.
