Urban Group’s dedication in providing high standard security services to the customers is well recognized. The Group received totally 124 Best Security Services Awards in 2018. During the Hong Kong Island Best Security Services Awards Presentation Ceremony held on 31st December 2018, Urban Group won 5 Security Services Awards to conclude its achievements in the year.
“I am delighted that our efforts are recognized by the industry and the customers. Currently, the Group is managing 353 residential and commercial projects territory-wide. Out of the 124 Best Security Services Awards received in 2018, 84 of them are awarded to our property service teams, accounting for 25% of our portfolio. This recognition is undoubtedly very inspiring,”
Dr. Edmond Cheng, Managing Director of Urban Group remarked.
“In addition to that, the 40 security personnel were awarded because of their experiences and familiarization with the physical local environment. Both real-life examples as well as mock cases are adopted in our regular trainings to increase our security staff’s resilience, thereby raising their efficiency during emergency,” Dr. Edmond Cheng added.
The Hong Kong Island Best Security Services Award Scheme is jointly organized by the Hong Kong Police Force Hong Kong Island Regional Crime Prevention Office, the Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority and The Hong Kong Association of Property, aims at motivating quality security services and preventing crime.
The awarded properties of Urban Group include South Wave Court, Tower One and Tower Two of Tern Centre, as well as 2 security guards from Phoenix Court and Lyttelton Garden. Their outstanding performance in helping the Police to combat crime was commended in the Hong Kong Island Best Security Services Awards Presentation Ceremony.
