Effective Employee Communications Common Goals Clearly Communicated

Urban Group strongly believes that our employees are our "Quality Partners". To communicate our corporate direction with our employees, various communication channels and methods have been adopted. Those channels help clearly cascade our corporate strategies, corporate plan and our expectation towards our employees with all the members of Urban Group. In order to enhance our staff engagement towards our business goals, we have also established different effective communication channels including Intranet (Urbannet), i-Urban Portal, corporate newsletter (Urban Express), TQM Commitment Days, Strategic Management Forums, Quality Enhancement Committee Meetings, regular departmental meetings, etc. All these contribute to the building up of a very cohesive team spirit and a harmonious working relationship within the Group.

Besides, Urban listens to the voice from our employees through different channels such as employee opinion survey, exit interview, employee suggestion and employee grievances channels in order to collect their opinions and understand their expectations.

Diversified Employee Activities Enhance Sense of Belonging

Urban Group usually organizes different types of staff activities, such as "Urban Group Premier Football League", "Annual Dinner", "Christmas Party", "Anniversary Celebration Party", "Millions Walk by Community Chest". These activities not merely help enhance the team spirit of our employees, but also improve the relationship among them and ultimately create a harmonious group of working partners. In addition, Urban Group Community Care Team has organized various voluntary activities for our pursuit of corporate social responsibility and facilitating more interactions among our staff.

Employee Relations Committee Creates Effective Communication Channel

Employee Relations Committee aims to reinforce the communication opportunities between the top management of Urban Group and the fellow staff members. To establish a harmonious working relationship with the Group, our top management is able to convey the corporate direction to all employees through different effective channels, while our employees can feedback their opinion to the top management.

The corporate newsletter, “Urban Express” is one of the effective communication channels to disseminate the updated corporate news, business direction and corporate activities to all the stakeholders of the company. We also organize various kinds of employee relations activities for enhancing their sense of belongings towards the Group and work productivity.
