5.5.5) Earth Partner

Urban Group has participated in Earth Partner programme by Friends of the Earth (HK) ('FoE (HK)') since 2008.
Through this platform, we hope to create the following impacts for all staff and stakeholders:

• Increase awareness of environmental issues and take real actions to protect our environment
• Enhance knowledge of environmental problems, alternatives and solutions enabling the establishment of green business practices, which could possibly lower operating costs
• Help employees to live green not only at the workplace but also bring about such influence at home
• Create a healthier workplace and have healthier employees
• Uphold green CSR commitment for a healthier and more sustainable environment

Earth Partner is an annual environmental programme for corporations. Since 2005, it has been launched annually on Earth Day* (22nd April) by 'FoE (HK)'. Earth Partner is an ideal platform for corporations to engage employees of various levels to understand more about pressing environmental problems such as poor air quality, excessive waste, energy and water wastage; and at the same time share methods and common goals of conserving and improving the environment for a sustainable future.
