Urban Group strives to pursue our corporate social responsibilities and to respond to the Hong Kong SAR Government's appeal for "Sustainable Development". In 2002, City One Shatin obtained the "Eco-Business Award - Gold Award" (Private Housing) presented by the Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC), recognizing its outstanding achievements in environmental management.
Urban Group established its Green Care Committee in 2001 with the goals of "Environmental Care and Green Lifestyle". The Committee has set up its Premier Environmental Care Strategies to coordinate Urban's Green Activities. Urban Group's Environmental Management Strategies include:
